Made for the heat

The boat shoe is the shoe of the weekend, warm weather, and travel. It keeps everything classic, the moccasin-style toe and the lace that runs around the collar, but swaps the usual flat sole for a sneaker sole, lightweight and cushioned, to walk all day without thinking about your feet. It goes with shorts, linen pants, and chinos rolled up at the ankle, always with no-show socks. For a suit-and-tie meeting, it falls short.
